Since moving here, life has asked me to slow down, and I’ve listened.
These are the things I’ve let go of:
1. Rushing through my mornings
Now I wake up as early as I can (hello sunrise!) to enjoy slow, quiet starts: a workout, a cold ocean dip, walking with the dog… whatever feels right in the moment.
2. Overplanning every hour
Life here has taught me to leave room for spontaneity, no more dates planned 3 months in advance.
3. Chasing constant highs
I no longer need big thrills to feel alive. Chasing constant highs only left me restless. There’s something beautifully tranquil about finding joy in everyday moments.
4. Buying things I don’t need
Living in a tiny house made me rethink every purchase. Simplicity = freedom.
5. Saying yes to everything
I’ve learned that “no” is a complete sentence, one that I’m really starting to like 🙂 Respecting my own rhythm brings so much peace.
Which one resonates most with you? Or is there something you’ve let go of recently?
